Welcome to Our Summer Newsletter!
As summer arrives, we hope you and your family are enjoying longer days, warmer weather, and opportunities to spend time outdoors. This season is also a great reminder to stay proactive about your health, whether that means scheduling annual wellness visits, updating sports physicals before the school year begins, or taking steps to protect your skin from the summer sun.
Wishing you a safe, healthy, and enjoyable summer!
The Providers and Staff
A Quick Reminder Before Your Appointment
Arrive early: we ask that all patients arrive 5–10 minutes before their scheduled appointment time. This allows our staff to verify insurance, update personal information, and complete any necessary paperwork before you see your provider.
Completing this step helps us provide the best possible care while minimizing delays for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation!
Heading out of town? Be sure to check your medication supply before you leave. Request prescription refills at least 5–7 days before your trip to allow enough time for processing and to avoid running out while you're away.
Wear your sunscreen!
As we head into the sunny season, don't forget that UV rays can still reach your skin on cloudy or overcast days. Wearing a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, along with protective clothing and sunglasses, can help reduce the risk of sun damage and skin cancer. Be sure to reapply sunscreen every two hours when spending time outdoors, and more often if swimming or sweating. A little prevention today can help protect your skin for years to come.
Schedule Sports Physicals Early!
Fall sports season will be here before you know it! Parents are encouraged to schedule sports physical appointments as soon as possible to avoid the late-summer rush and ensure their athlete is ready for participation. Be sure to bring any required school or sports organization forms to your appointment and verify that all paperwork is up to date. Early scheduling helps ensure your student-athlete is cleared and ready for a successful season.
Please Check in at the Front Desk
For the safety, privacy, and efficiency of our patients and staff, we ask that all visitors remain in the main lobby and check in with the front desk upon arrival. Patients and family members should not enter clinical areas or walk to the back offices without being escorted by a staff member.
If you need assistance, have questions, or would like to speak with a member of our clinical team, our front desk staff will be happy to help direct your request. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and organized environment for everyone.
